The Brooks Glycerin Max 2 is currently discounted by 25% at Brooks, bringing its price down from $200 to $150. The promotion covers the men’s and women’s versions, with the sale applying across the available colorways and sizes.
Designed as a high-cushion training shoe, the Glycerin Max 2 is aimed at slower-paced runs, walking, recovery days and run-walk sessions. Brooks gives it a 45-millimeter heel stack and a thick DNA Tuned midsole, a nitrogen-infused foam designed to provide a softer landing in the heel and a firmer, more responsive feel toward the forefoot.
The shoe also uses a pronounced rocker shape to help smooth transitions, while its padded upper is intended to provide a comfortable, secure fit. Testers praised the supportive ride for easy efforts, particularly when running with tired legs. One tester described it as a go-to option for relaxed runs, while another highlighted the cushioning and snug upper. Runner’s World editor Jamie Sorcher said the shoe encouraged her to extend a run rather than stop early.
Dick’s Sporting Goods and Zappos are also matching the $150 price, but Brooks reportedly offers the widest selection of sizes and colors. However, several size-and-color combinations have already sold out, so availability may continue to change.
