Dupixent, developed by Sanofi and Regeneron, has become the leading-selling medicine in immunology over the past decade. The treatment is used by about 1.4 million patients for conditions including eczema, asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, generating tens of billions of dollars in revenue.

Kymera Therapeutics is preparing to report results from a mid-stage clinical trial of KT-621 in eczema before the end of 2026. The data are being closely followed by investors and doctors as the company positions the experimental therapy as a potential competitor to Dupixent.

Jefferies analysts have described the upcoming results as one of the year’s most significant readouts in immunology and inflammatory disorders. The outcome could have important implications for Kymera and other companies developing competing treatments, as well as for patients with eczema in the United States.

The results may also influence Kymera’s plans to evaluate KT-621 in additional immune-related conditions, including chronic spontaneous urticaria and asthma. According to Visible Alpha, analysts estimate that the drug could generate nearly $4 billion in sales by 2035, with more than $3 billion coming from eczema treatment.
